Hello.
I am the Brussels Parliamentary Assistant
to Derek Clark MEP, and I oversee his work in the Employment and Social Affairs Committee in the European Parliament. This is a great opportunity for me to witness the beast first-hand. This will also help give myself some credibility when I state that I am firmly against a European political Union. I am of course, extremely fortunate to work with the Europe of Freedom and Democracy group, a group that I hold in the highest regard.
I was also a candidate for the E.U Elections of 2009 in the North East region, I stood as the 3 Candidate on the Party List. It was an honour to represent UKIP who possess the hardest working and the most honest people I have had the fortune to meet at various engagements.
2009 was UKIP's election, not only did we repeat our success of 2004, but we bettered it, gaining an extra MEP in Wales and increasing our MEPs from 12 to 13. 2009 was the year UKIP came 2nd Nationally, beating the Governing Labour Party. UKIP are the official opposition when it comes to the European issue. If you like the EU, then you can vote Labour, Conservative, Lib Dem and Green. If you don’t like the EU, then there's only one show in town; UKIP – come and join the battle. www.ukip.org
